This exceptional quality is picked in the winter months in the plains of Yunnan from wild growing tea shrubs. Depending on the climatic conditions, the colour range of the pure blossoms changes between cream-white and moss green.
White Pai Mu Tan tea is produced in small amounts in the Fujiann province. It has a delicate, velvety taste, devoid of bitterness and has a straw-like appearance. This tea undergoes very little processing and is hand picked.
This is a Chinese speciality loose leaf tea which has been produced for more than 100 years in the south east region of the Chinese high mountains. The "two leaves and a bud" plucking is clearly visible looking at this tea.
