First flush Darjeeling teas are considered to be one of the finest teas in the world.
These leaves are the first of the Spring harvest and only the bud and the first two leaves are plucked from the plant, by hand. First flush teas in Darjeeling are plucked in March or April, depending on weather conditions and plant growth.
