The best Cuban coffee in our opinion is the Turquino. Still a secret tip, it is incomparably well-balanced, spicy, with a full aroma and an incredibly long-lasting aftertaste with a hint of tobacco.

Only the best beans from the plantation areas in the east and the centre of Cuba are used. The coffee grows particularly on steep slopes at an average altitude of 400-800 m. Plantations are managed by state-owned co-operatives.

Artificial fertilizers are not used. Control and development of the plants are effected with extravagance and it is of great value to maintain and expand their natural growing. Coffee growing has always been done the traditional way, namely by hand.
