OUR STORY
We are an independent family run business who pride ourselves in sourcing the best possible products for our clients and who strive to be the best we can be at all times!
We even visit some of the plantations ourselves to see the unfinished products!
IT’S TEA came to fruition due to a lack of ability of Alex and Don to find good quality loose leaf tea at reasonable prices, within the UK and with the assurance that the product purchased would live up to its expectations. So we wondered what we could do to change this? ……. all of our teas are tried and tested for quality and taste BEFORE they are offered to our customers and all of our staff are trained in the Art of Tea – first by us and later by the best tea experts in the country.
So, now you know a bit more about us, let us tell you a bit more about our passion –
IT’S TEA has been supplying the finest teas, infusions, coffees and accessories since we opened our shop back in 2014. During that time, we have attracted connoisseurs, industry professionals and newcomers to our World of Teas and Coffees and are proud to have gained a loyal and enthusiastic customer base.
We also supply cafes and restaurants and can offer trade deals to businesses – please contact us for more information if you are interested in this. We stock and supply over 350 teas, infusions and over 30 coffees (either ground to your liking or as full beans), in addition to beautiful accessories to make your drinking experience as magical as possible. Our teas and coffees come from all around the globe are fresh and natural products which means that some are available only part of the year, depending on supply. For example, we may have a first flush Darjeeling in stock, an unusual Oolong or a rare white tea but we may sell out of these products so if you see something interesting, grab it! We are constantly on the lookout for new products to interest you and welcome your feedback and comments – keep an eye on our website for new stock and follow us on Facebook for updates. We welcome you to come and visit our shop in person and can arrange corporate and private tastings and comprehensive advice on how best to enjoy your drink of choice …. we look forward to hearing from you soon!. however if you don’t live locally you know that all of our customers have tested the product so you can buy them in the knowledge that are of quality.
